People told me this building's design has won lots of prizes (not quite certain about this info).
Anyhow, you can find a nice cafe on the ground floor.
View of the busy road.
Here, there are many buses which connects to major cities in Korea.
Kangnam station also has many language course institutions,
especially during school-off seasons you'll be able to find many university students,
trying to learn whatever languages they are interested in.
This is 'Kyobo Bookstore' located in Kyobo building.
Im not such a big fan of books but I do come here quite often..
It's very huge, you can find books in other languages (mostly Korean and English).
CD records, stationary supplies are also available.
If the weather is too hot or cold, this bookstore may be a nice place to chill or kill time.
One unique thing in Kangnam Station (Im not sure if other places has it too)
It's called 'the media pole,' you can see these poles in almost every block.
This thing shows ads when not in use, and
information about coupons and maps.
You can also take pictures (there's a camera in there)
and send it to your email account.
More specific updates about Kangnam Station will come soon ;)
